April BLS Jobs report misses estimates by a lot +266K jobs, UE 6.1%

Was expected to add 1 Million jobs, only added 266,000. UE still at 6.1%.

Look for Cons to seize on this and attack Biden with it. It's a disappointing report vs expectations, but maybe expectations were way off. But wages absolutely crushed expectations, +0.7% and are up 0.3% over last year at this time.

SO today, you're going to hear Republicans screaming "stalled recovery" "Socialism doesn't work!" etc. etc. But know that Joe Biden is adding jobs at a record clip while Donald Trump was the worst US jobs President since Herbert Hoover.

This is good news. I’m sure more will be rehired over the next six months.

2. This is a good report, the 1 Million jobs expected was setting Joe up for failure.
