Putting Mike Pence’s life in danger is not a stunt any of them take lightly. But now the balance of their anger has tilted against Cheney. She refuses to let this thing go, and she is putting the party’s messaging at risk.

For that matter modern weapons will most likely end up in your demise. So the age old human problem is how do you promote your self interests when forcing others to your will will not work. The Republican Party seems to have hit upon a formula. First you lie, then you make up your own rules. Along the way you promote anger. For this to work you have to abandon all reason. We are in the depths of the Second American Civil War and it is asymmetrical.
