Snip
Sunset along the East Coast could prove alarming Saturday, including green and violet spherical clouds, according to NASA.
Reports of UFOs are likely, but the source will be a four-stage rocket launch from NASAs Wallops Flight Facility in Virginia, the space agency says.
The launch is scheduled for 8:02 p.m. and will likely provide a brief light show for residents of the eastern United States and Bermuda, NASA said in a news release. Clear skies could make it visible as far west as the Mississippi River, officials said.

(14,118 posts)1. The most dramatic cloud experience I've had was when I lived in South Dakota. One day
in the afternoon there were three layers of three differently colored clouds blowing in
three different directions.

There was this bulgy cloud front rolling toward us, with lightning flashes intermittently illuminating the interior. It looked like the Mutara Nebula that the Enterprise goes into to get away from Khan in the second Star Trek movie. You don't see things like that in Oregon.
Let's see, though, what the Q whackaloons make of it. Should be entertaining.
