"The Conservative Case for Teen Pregnancy"

See, the conservative no longer believes in "bastard"*** children living off the public dole since the conservative wants women at home being mothers (without education, i.e soft taliban) to promote traditional family structures.

Still: "While fornication is indeed a grave sin against chastity..."

*** bastard children is a concoction of backwards tribesmen from earlier times

since only the wealthy and propertied really gave a shit about it. Generally, they slept around a lot, but only children borne by their 'official' wife counted and were eligible for inheritance.

N., "illegitimate child," early 13c., from Old French bastard "acknowledged child of a nobleman by a woman other than his wife" (11c., Modern French bâtard), probably from fils de bast "packsaddle son," meaning a child conceived on an improvised bed (saddles often doubled as beds while traveling), with pejorative ending -art (see -ard). Alternative possibly is that the word is from Proto-Germanic *banstiz "barn," equally suggestive of low origin.

What was the point of this word salad? There was no case made, nor was there any solutions to a number of hardships identified other than "Gawd wills, things happen".
Unless that was the point -
Out of wedlock/teen pregnancy is no big deal. It all turns out the way Gawd plans in the end no matter what government or (Christian) church programs provide.

Is that the case?

Having some Conservative male friends pre-Trump that claimed to be "good Christians", knocking up girls out of wedlock was never a big deal (unless they ended up paying child support). None of my friends were rich, but if you are rich then child support is not really an issue.

I think this article is more about "white replacement theory", and that the author wants white conservatives men knocking up more women and stopping the women from having abortions.

And disillusioned when they were lucky to come home.

"Fighting for Peace is like fucking for Virginity "

I came across that line in many books I read from that time in our history.
