Watching Jake Tapper on HR1 voting rights, of course manchin

won't support it but the reporter stated at the end the dems are trying to make it easy so that everyone can vote and the rethugs are against because they think it opens up fraud.
Why won't the reporter just say the truth which is rethugs know if everyone gets to vote they lose so they are in favor of suppressing the vote.
They're not afraid of fraud.

Not protecting the voting rights of people in HIS state plus ALL other states? Why would he be against this?

They’re afraid of the voters who see through their cheating and their efforts to prevent as many people as possible from voting. They’re afraid of the voters who know that they stand for nothing, other than their own power and wealth. They’re afraid of the truth because it shows then as the immoral, soulless people they are. They’re afraid that people see them as the corrupt criminals they are.

to distract from their own failed but ongoing Election fraud.

Even the Heritage Foundations analysis of VF over the last 12 years amounts to Less than 0.0005%

If absentee didn't produce fraud when primarily old white republicans used mail in ballots, there is nothing to suggest more voters would somehow suddenly commit fraud. Unless...

I tell you what we're going to find out: Trump's people anticipated Biden would garner about the same number of votes, maybe 1 point more, and in the states TFG rigged with Russias help in 2016 (WI, MI, PA, and GA), he pulled the same scam. Sure he got 74 million. But he didn't cheat big enough because he can not fathom how much hatred he engenders in rational, logical, sentient beings. I'm guess when the election fraud is found, it will prove not only Biden got every one of his 81.4M votes, while TFG likely got less that 70 million.

While I am frustrated with him, the lot of democrats would be worse off without his role in the Democratic Party holding a meager majority in the senate.
