General Discussion
Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsThe last two days I have been getting unsolicited texts and email from right wing outlets,
including from one place called "Hillsdale College". When I looked on Wikipedia, it says Hillsdale College is a private conservative liberal arts college in Hillsdale, Michigan, founded by some group called "Free Will Baptists", whatever the hell that is.
It indicated its big promoters are the following:
Notable Administrators and Promoters
Pat Sajak, Wheel of Fortune host, President of the Hillsdale College Board of Trustees[121]
Rush Limbaugh, political commentator, media personality
Hugh Hewitt, political commentator
Mark Levin, radio personality
How they got my email or phone number to text I have no idea, but marked them as spam, and blocked the number where I got the texts from.
There is an extreme right wing agenda getting pushed out on various mediums, and we cannot be complacent. 2022 is just as critical as 2020, maybe even more.
While I know there is a lot on the Biden administrations plate, I really hope the DOJ puts as number one priority to fight against what is happening with the voter suppression laws in various states, because unless this is addressed this year, it will be too late. It has to be done before the next election if it is going to happen to stop this.
While it is still fresh in most people's mind, and we still have the majority, we have to setup a commission on the January 6th insurrection. People have to know the truth what happened. There is too much disinformation and white-washing going on out there
When people like reagan, bush, romney, etc. look reasonable compared to the republican party NOW, we are in trouble.
