"SNIP.....

WASHINGTON — Out of office, off of Twitter, still complaining about the election results — the last 100 days or so haven’t been kind to Donald Trump, our new national NBC News poll finds.

His ratings among all adults stands at 32 percent favorable, 55 percent unfavorable, which is down from his rating in January (40 percent favorable, 53 percent unfavorable among registered voters), as well as where he was in the poll right before the election (43 percent favorable, 52 percent unfavorable among registered voters).

By comparison, President Biden’s current favorable/unfavorable stands at 50 percent positive, 36 percent negative.

Even Trump’s pull within his own party appears to have lessened, with 44 percent of Republicans saying they’re more supporters of Trump than the GOP, versus 50 percent who say they’re more supporters of the GOP than the former president.

His family, his cronies. Don Jr. , Jarvanka, Miller, Bannon. Civil suits. Taxes, insurrection.

I think some prosecutors may be drawing it out so it is ongoing at 2024 primary and nominations time.

If we see some indictments among his close circle he may finally drop below 30% support. It'll take something that dramatic given the GOP cult like attachment to the former guy.

Why his support is even over single digits is either attributable to Fox Noise alone, or else it is, to borrow from Churchill, "a riddle, wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma."

This drop isn't due to his cult turning on him. Rather, it's the softer elements of his cult pretending they have no opinion one way or the other now that he's out of sight hiding in his humiliation hole in Florida. If Trump swooped back into continuous view, those idiots would instantly be 100% back onboard with him.

Even the 50% saying they support the GOP more than Trump sounds suspicious to me. Trump's cult deeply hate the GOP, moreso now because they feel betrayed that the party didn't successfully overturn the election. These guys identified as Republicans because their Lord and Savior Donald was the GOP's Supreme Ruler. Now that he's gone, they're probably back to identifying themselves as "America First Independents", or something equally stupid. Of course, they're still the GOP base who will continue to swarm the primaries, but they won't show respect to the party by admitting to being Republicans.

He may not be all up in our faces, but ...

Liz Cheney, who is a conservative POS, is being run out of the House leadership for a full out, unabashed trumpist.

The GOP now runs EVERYTHING through him, including the RNC.

His grip on it is a deathgrip.

IF he is physically able and has not been held to account by the justice system, he will run in 2024, win the nomination easily and like the last two elections it will be mortal battle that ends in a coin flip.

As long as the small minority with some light in their souls in the GOP cowardly clings to it or slinks off into the shadows, the current path is set.

Unless they break off and start a new "conservative party" that can syphon off the 5-10% or so of republicans who know how horrible this is, but can't bring themselves to vote D, they are going to continue to have the working majorities in elections to drag remake this country ins a chrisofascist, authoritarian Idiocracy.

a significant percentage of people in this country can't put on their socks without reading a manual.

And when I say "reading a manual" I mean "looking at the pictures".

When Trump dies they'll start a religion for him.

in the WH.

All he needs is a bullhorn or Facebook/Instagram to reverse their decision and the con man will spread his lies and racist thoughts and the sheep will return.
