We've long since become accustomed.
These have been happening for decades, and not only have we done NOTHING to prevent them, we've made it easier to acquire guns.
It is what it is. We are who we are. And I don't expect Anything to change in my lifetime. Not a chance.

is seeing a definite surge. guns, and gun violence, have been around for a while -- but we're not imagining that we're seeing something different here.
