There is no need for Justice to charge the "former guy" with anything at this time.

But they do need to send a shot across the bow.

They need to charge someone very close to him. He needs to know that he has not been forgotten.

It would be interesting to see if the base would be so keen to defend Rudy, or Don Jr, or Roger Stone?

The January 6th assault on our Capitol simply cannot be forgotten. It should not be finished with the arrest of all the foot soldiers. The leaders, the inciters, need to be held accountable, also.

In my opinion, the Justice Dept needs to keep the pressure on these folks.

(We know they are smarter than everyone here and there is no need to ever offer them any advice. Sort of like William Mueller. No need for a reminder)

The impeachment did not speak to obstruction and Barr buried that concept deep but can DOJ now proceed down that line?
