First it was "Fake News" — originally coined to describe the Russian bots that posted untrue stories about Hillary Clinton — that the former president commissioned for his own use. He and his supporters used it against legitimate news retailers when they published unflattering facts about his administration. Now he wants to copyright "The Big Lie" to be applied to an imaginary fraudulent election. He even put it in all caps to emphasize the right of ownership.
What will the King of Mar a Lago proclaim next? I can think of a few possibilities. I can even see Stephen Miller at the front gate dressed in bloomers and a puffy shirt, reading from a scroll as he lays out the edicts of the day:
Hear Ye, Hear Ye...The 45 President of The United States hereby proclaims that from this day forth....
Duck's ass haircuts will be known as "The Premier"
The term "Dumpster Fire" will refer to Contained Energy
The Dow Jones Industrial Average will be renamed "The Donald John Economic Indicator"
January 6th shall be named "The Gathering Of Patriots"
Golfers wearing MAGA hats will begin their match at four under par
The Nobel Peace Prize will be called "The Libtard Trophy"
Orange is the new white.
"Keep Calm and Carry a Gun."
