Should the Democrats have gone for the $11 minimum wage option?

While I'm not sure they would have been able to include it into the covid relief bill, I think the Democrats should have called Manchin and Sinema's bluff and included raising the minimum wage to $11. I believe that the minimum wage should be raised to $15. Raising it partially wouldn't prevent it from being raised more later, especially if we can get 2 more Senators elected in 2022. I think that this is just another case where instead of giving some help that would immediately help millions of people, we hold out for more, which helped no one.

if moving goalposts is always a fallback. I do believe that's a conservative's mating call. There will always be an out as to why stuff that helps people has to be watered down. It's all bullshit.
