Millions of children are unable to be vaccinated

I guess just fuck em huh?

We have no idea of long term effects of this thing. But fuck let’s just move on. No masks. No social distancing.

A maskholes dream. They ain’t ever gonna get vaccinated but they will lie about having been. Who’s going to ask them anyways??

People actually think it's okay that "most" will be okay. The parents of those who have died think differently.

I have to be around 3 children everyday that cannot receive the vaccine. And we’re gonna keep the kids away from the crazy anti vaxxers as much as possible.

It’s not that big a deal, just a slight inconvenience for a while longer.

about cloth / surgical masks not making much of a difference anyway.

They wouldn't release guidance that would harm kids. At least I hope they wouldn't...

Also, we have to psychologically move on from this trauma as well. Get back to normal life where, yes, there is always a risk of catching a deadly flu or virus, but we can't let it permanently disrupt our lives.

Are they convinced we have hit the max amount of vaccines people are willing to take?

There is now zero incentive to get them to take the shot. They will lie their asses off and make pretend.

Many of them felt protection from the mask mandates, which are basically going out the window now.

And it's not just the children. It's the immune-suppressed as well.

34% of the population is vaccinated. Good enough, I guess? Yeah, well, we tried.

I don't worship at the altar of the CDC. They're humans, and humans are fallible. I think there is an enormous amount of political pressure to start opening things up. "But they're the experts!" Yeah, Dr. Birx was an expert. Look how that one went.

This just seems horribly premature and irresponsible to me. It's like all of a sudden, summer is approaching, the vaccines are out there, and public policy figures are just going, "You know what? Fuck it. Just . . . fuck it." Even the governors were totally blind-sided by this. It fell out of a clear blue sky.

I want to go back to normal, too! We all do. But after all we've been through, after all the people we've loved and lost to this shit, suddenly it's beyond the absolute pale to want a bit of caution here? To objectively look at this situation and think this does not seem quite right just yet? Nah, we're all good?

People are starting to sound like anti-maskers. Dislike. I'll keep my mask on for now. For my own safety, for the safety of others, and because I know that by doing so I am not harming anyone else. If someone said, "July 1st would be good," I'd be a hell of a lot more comfortable with things than I am now.

Something is just so very weird about this sudden announcement, that health officials and governors didn't know it was coming. Like, where is this coming from? "The science!" Yeah. They've done a study or two. That's not "science". Science is repeatable, done multiple times to equal outcomes, consistent. I don't believe they've had the time to fully understand what the consequences of this will be.

But, looks like we're going to find out, one way or another. Good luck, everyone.

I was told they (and others who can't be immunized, or can't build up immunity) should just wear masks.
