The anti-masking issue is the same as it was last month

Does your comfort matter more than the lives of others? It is just that simple.

To pretend only the vaccinated will stop wearing masks is ridiculous. The anti-vaxxers will continue to spread disease, only now they have the permission of the government and the people who until recently called anti-maskers mask-holes.

They have had the opportunity for free covid-19 vaccinations in all 50 states now...they continue to offer free vaccines...now, even at local pharmacies...No excuse...America is being placed on hold/lock down masked up because of the non-maskers and anti-vaxers ...So...Please get vaccinated ASAP because America is opening up...the Moderna and Pfizer vaccines work, they work amazingly well I might add...they are free and adults' have a choice...

Vax Up or Shut Up...America is opening up now.

I was vaccinated with my second Moderna vaccine 1/21/21....I'm fully vaccinated and ready for a booster next...it works, I feel good and have cared for covid-19 infected patients...I of course use PPE's then....many of my other clients are fully vaccinated...I educated them well...supported them into understanding the actions of an mRNA vaccine...

3. It's been barely 5 weeks since vaccines were available to everyone

in my state. And the Governor lifted the mask mandate yesterday. That means people haven't even had the opportunity to get the full effects of immunity yet. My sister got the quickest appointment she could, and she won't be fully immune until Tuesday. But the mask mandate is lifted in MN because the Governor responded to political pressure. That means even the most responsible people, who made their appointments right away, are at risk as a result.

And no, I do not wish death on half the population of America, including children who are ineligible to receive the vaccine.

I am vaccinated OBVIOUSLY, and I still mask. I made an appointment the first day I was eligible.

until fully vaccinated...It's opening up, America is opening up.....we have had sooooo many non compliant folks in every community that has essentially sabotaged the prevention strategies...It just one, 2 maybe 3 in a community to spread covid-19...we have had that everywhere...

We do have adequate PPE's and hand sanitizer now...so...let's get vaccinated folks.

6. 0-12 year olds CANNOT vax up. They need to be protected until they can.

As do those who are unable to take the vaccine, or who cannot develop immunity even if they do take the vaccine.

That is one of the primary reasons this advice is premature. Anyone with half a brain knows that those eligible to be vaccinated who are not yet vaccinated will take this as license to walk around maskless and lie about being vaccinated. The only protection against those selfish jerks were the mandatory mask orders.

Until the time that transmissions are low, all people are eligible be vaccinated, and actual vaccination rate is high, it is irresponsible for the CDC to encourage removal of masks.

8. While masks do protect the wearer, they are far more effective

when worn by the person transmitting the disease.

It is irresponsible to encourage policies that put those who cannot be vaccinated at a significantly ncreased risk by giving idiots who are not vaccinated permission to ditch the mask and just lie about being vaccinated.

I trust the science, and the CDC is not currently acting consistently with the science as to community risk.
