I would either ask for proof or simply say I'm sorry but for now I still need to have everyone who comes in my house wear a mask.

If he’s that’s his problem. I Think we will need to ask people for their vaccination cards.

We're both fully vaxed so I'm not going to insist the workers wear masks, but they probably will anyway due to all the dust, etc. But if they wanted to NOT wear masks, that would be fine with me and my husband.

been fully vaxxed for three weeks now but carry a mask if my clients prefer.

Now, How do I tell if my clients are being truthful?

Like, "Which one? Did you have any side effects? I was sick for two days afterward!" Usually if people are ready to talk about their experience casually like that, they aren't faking. If someone's faking, they may not have been prepared for follow-ups. If you ask "Which one?" and they say, "The Vandelay," that's not a good sign.

That response probably wouldn't land them the job.

What's odd is the different situations above and below the 49th. At least, in this part of the land above the 49th. I have not yet met a person who is against the vaccine in even a mild, uncommitted way - FAR more common is enthusiasm for getting it and a feeling of joy and relief, once you do.

was positive and contract traced each customer. Sure enough my friend tested + even though fully vaxed.

Mileage may vary, it seems.

There are too many unknowns. Eight yankees tested positive for covid after being vaccinated. These are young and healthy people. We don't know if vaccinated people can spread covid or if we risk a more dire mutation by ignoring masks.

My husband & I are cancer survivors, older, and immune compromised. We'll continue to mask and expect anyone we hire to maskup in our home.

He caught me outside, without my mask. I walked him back to show him what we wanted to do, keeping a good distance between us. I was just about to step inside to get my mask when my wife came out, wearing her mask. The contractor quickly slipped his on.

Later, as we stood together wearing masks, I told him we'd appreciate it if his crew wore masks when we were around, but as they would be outdoors all the time and we would stay away for the most part, whether they wore masks while working was their choice. He thought that a good approach.
