We already know the verb and adjective.
Some day it I think it will be a noun, symbolic of the stupid, anti-education, racist, revisionist, misogynist, regressive faction and thread that has persisted throughout American politics.
"It's a trump." "She's a trump."
In other words, I don't believe these people are truly about a sagging lunatic NY abuser who couldn't give a rat's ass about them.
He is a symbol to them.
They will move on, as always, and the thread will persist, in smaller or larger numbers as time marches on.

(810 posts)I have never, ever, in my entire 60+ year life seen or heard of one individual so completely bereft of positive personal qualities as Donald J. Trump. It's amazing to me that anyone can be devoid of something positive.

(24,736 posts)I have had a theory for many years that the right is all about symbols....over substance.
E.g., the cross, v. Jesus' true teachings.
The flag, v. true patriotism.
I think it's because they are too dumb to explore, read, inquire, investigate - they can only go as far deep as the symbol. Like we used to say about W, they do not have curious minds!
