(65,049 posts)...to determine just how dumb, but this is evidence that's it's in the "extremely" range, entering "monumentally".
Worst part: he thinks he outsmarted the other poster.
So, how dumb is he? We just don't know yet, but he's giving us clues.

(82,849 posts)Everyone knows that a bag of hammers is exceedingly dumb, as in the time-honored trope, "Dumber than a bag of hammers." Using a bag of hammers as our control, we should get to the observation deck of a tall (greater than 10 stories) building. With observers stationed on the ground below, throw Scott Baio and a bag of hammers simultaneously off the building.
Break for lunch.

(65,049 posts)I want a 10,000 frame per second slo-mo camera trained on that punk to properly capture the data.
That & the joy of seeing that moron get clobbered in super slow motion. Over & over & over &....

I suppose that explains why republicans are so mirthless.

(11,738 posts)Costco, nationally, has lifted the mask mandate, but is following state and local jurisdictions on requiring masks. Conservatives see the headline "Costco lifts mask requirement" then stop reading the rest of the information which would have informed them that this doesn't apply if masks are still required sub-nationally. See, conservatives require "all or nothing" answers, except when it comes to voting restriction laws, gun laws, restrictive anti-abortion laws, etc... then they are fine understanding that red states are making it impossible to vote, get an abortion, OR super easy to get and carry guns. They are fine with those particular nuances, just not things that keep them from doing what they want.

If you disseminate stupid into the ether, it doesn't return as a fragrant, flowery bouquet of truth. No, all you get back a large sack of rotting garbage. Their world really does end at the tip of their noses, doesn't it?

(20,191 posts)As soon as he started bringing in some decent money as a young teen, his father quit his job and became his "manager". He was the sole support of his family since he was 16. He's worked pretty consistently in TV for over 40 years, but his net worth is only $4 Million. In SoCal, that's your house! I get the feeling he thinks he should have been a bigger star than he was, or at least have more to show for it.
I think Rick Schroeder had a similar experience but at a younger age. Being a cute
blonde kid, he did some catalogs and commercials, but when he got the part in The Champ, his parents pulled him out of school to "focus on his career". He was in THIRD GRADE. He has more money than Scott, but I don't know if he made more or just managed to hang onto it better.

(20,191 posts)It really is sad that child actors still get taken advantage of like that. McCauley Culkin's parents were the same way, plus they had 8 kids! They put 3 of them to work, McCauley being the most successful. Father Kit Culkin was a failed actor himself.
