I believe that Tucker Carlson and Alex Jones are the peddlers of anxiety hustlers. You ramp people anxieties to nth degree and see your bottom line and influence go through the roof.

In normal times this is a perfectly legal hustle right now. However, these time are exception to the normal customary practice and their business practices are like to yelling fire in a crowded theater and needed to be banned.

it's a long story, but my impression is that at the individual level, it is meant to vex you.
to see how easy it is to get under your skin. if it is, i'm guessing they target you for more.
it fouled up my passwords, and online transactions. didnt take any money.
drove me nuts for a while. devices are still f'ed up.

I have not fully tracked this quote down, but it would not surprise me to find it true: “In the 60s, the KGB did some fascinating psychological experiments. They learned that if you bombard human subjects with fear messages nonstop, in two months or less most of the subjects are completely brainwashed to believe the false message."
