8. I think it means let's just forget everything that happened, including the insurrection attempt

and move on. They seem to think now, if they change the narrative, that it wasn't so bad, and doesn't need to be investigated, we will all forget about it and let it be. Not happening, needs to be investigated and all those who helped and organized need to be brought to justice, including those in congress. They truly are trying to sweep it all under the rug and saying it is the left that won't let it go.
