Chris Christie confirms he's mulling a 2024 presidential bid and won't 'defer' to Trump

Nor share his donuts with him.

Former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie confirmed this week that he's toying with the idea of running for president in the 2024 Republican primary, adding that his decision will not depend on former President Donald Trump's next move.

"I'm also not going to be one of these people who's going to say, 'Well, I'll wait to see what President Trump's going to do.' I'm not going to defer to anyone if I decide that's what I want to do and that I think I'm the best option for the party and for the country," Christie told the "Ruthless" podcast in an interview that aired on Monday. "I think if you say you're deferring to someone, that's a sign of both weakness and indecision, and we've already got that in the White House."

Christie's comments could be seen as a dig at Nikki Haley, a former South Carolina governor and US Ambassador to the UN, who said she won't run for president if Trump does and will "have to talk to him about it."

The former federal prosecutor said he plans to wait until after the 2022 midterms to make a final call.

2. I LOL at these LOSERS who think they can step in the ring if Trump runs.

Trump mopped the floor with them in '16 and he has more support now than in 16.

GOP should HOPE AND PRAY that Trump decides NOT to run and endorses a DeSantis or Noem.

3. Noem is far too stupid (and lacks feral conwoman instincts to compensate, unlike Trump) to win POTUS

DeSantis is not. He and Tom Cotton are ultra threats. Trump himself is still the frontrunner by far, but if health or (less likely) legal issues derail him, then those two are my two frontrunners, with Fucker Tarlson as my dark horse (or VP).

Plus, QMAGAts will not, at present, elevate a woman to the pyramidion of global power, no matter how many guns she flashes.

Noem is a dull knife. She was a marginal college multiple drop-out until she scraped by with shite online degree in 2012 (including getting intern credits for being a member of Congress!).

Harvard, Army Captain of the 101AB and a combat vet...

He'd be the first combat vet since Bush Sr to be POTUS.

And the first Combat Vet who fought on the ground, hand to hand since... Truman.

Liddle Marco & Lyin Ted Cruz.

These are the people Christie might beat out:
Huckster, Santorum & Paul withdrew before him.
Pataki, Graham, Jindal, Walker & Perry dropped out before the Primaries.

Oh, but this time he'll do well in 2024.

Seriously, it's all about the attention, the grift and playing for more guest speaker cash & books.

6. This stuff is a (foolish) donor paid gig for people like him.

He has zero chance, but I guess he's fishing for some donors willing to give him their money so he can spend time touring on the idea. If 2022 works out for the GOP, that is... now that's some conviction there! 'If the tides turn my way, toss me money. Then I'm in!' Brave man and definitely a potential world leader there.

He's literally just a Trump former lackey looking to possibly grift a bit from a different angle for his own gain now. Pathetic.
