Trump pressuring McConnell and McCarthy to vote against any January 6th Commission.

They are screaming in agony from just the thought of the pain to come.

Oh, to be free again!

President Trump urged Congressional Republicans late Tuesday to vote against legislation that would create a 9/11-style commission to investigate the deadly riot at the U.S. Capitol Jan. 6, calling it “more partisan unfairness” by Democrats.

“Unless the murders, riots, and fire bombings in Portland, Minneapolis, Seattle, Chicago, and New York are also going to be studied, this discussion should be ended immediately,” Trump said in a statement. “Republicans must get much tougher and much smarter, and stop being used by the Radical Left.

“Hopefully, [Senate Minority Leader] Mitch McConnell and [House Minority Leader] Kevin McCarthy are listening!” the former president concluded.

There is almost no mention anywhere that I’ve heard that his second impeachment was due to instigating January 6th. Prior to, on, and during the day of the attack.

One investigation - for the Jan 6th Capitol Insurrection

and the second one for the other protests over the summer in Minneapolis, Portland, Chicago, Seattle and New York.

Call their bluff. I think that the BLM protests would break badly for the Repugs also.

Show them for what they really are - obstructionists. My guess is that they've come up with some cockamamie excuse why separate investigations is not acceptable for them either.

As far as I'm concerned he has no right to be honored in any way.

It's akin to calling a violent, bloody attempt to overthrow our government a "riot", let alone equating the seditious criminals with "tourists."
