Especially on YouTube. For generations, evangelical/conservative nutjob pastors have told their followers that THEY are on the side of God, and for just as long, republicans have claimed that their candidates are God's chosen - no more so than Trump. Whether they actually believed it or not, they worked overtime on pushing that narrative, and the flocks bought it. Now throw in all the "prophets" claiming Trump would win re-election. When that didn't happen, it's not because these were false prophets saying these things, and since God is on their side, well that leaves the Devil and evil and badness and naughtiness as the culprits for Donnie being cheated out of what God had anointed him to. Combine that with their need to feel persecuted and their belief that God is going to reward them (by "getting" all the people who are against them or who have mocked them - literally kind of a holy form of revenge porn), and you've got a crapload of true believers.
