Could this be how Biden and Manchin worked this out so Manchin can save face?

Manchin sticks to his guns hoping for 10 Repug patriots. They don't show up. The 1/6 Commission is filibustered by the Repugs.

Manchin sees the writing on the wall and changes his stance on the filibuster and goes along with the Dems to end it.

Manchin is then able to say that he gave it every chance he could and now he must face reality and vote along with the rest of the Dems to end the filibuster.

And say publically the republicans are abusing the filibuster to dominate the Biden administration and do not want to be bipartisan and they are bad people.
Then tell everyone why they are bad people. On national tv.

Give them no excuses,tolerance or benifiet of doubt. Expose them. Ridicule thier beliefs and agenda.
