Former President Trump on Thursday slammed "weak" Republicans who don't want to talk about the audit of the 2020 election results in Maricopa County, Ariz.
During a sit-down interview with One America News Network (OANN), Trump reiterated his unsupported claims of election fraud. The former president told OANN reporter Chanel Rion that Republican voters want to know "what's going on in Arizona."
"That's all people ask me. They say 'what's going on in Arizona?' They want to talk about the election fraud. The weak Republicans don't want to talk about it," Trump said. "The weak or stupid or RINOs [Republican in name only], call them whatever you want, and yet the Republican voter that's what they want to hear."
"The Republican voter wants the story. The weak Republican politician doesn't want to talk about this story," Trump said.

The Republican voter he's talking about is himself.

(111,098 posts)The last batch of lies that he spewed seemed to have persuaded several AZ Republicans that they could not take it any more? They spoke out against the Big Lie and the sham audit. That cannot be good for Trump.

All this nonsense going on now is so dangerous to our democracy.
There is no certainty that our Democracy will withstand all this nefariousness......we have so many people who have taken leave of their senses and are dangerous.
I have two High School classmates who are married, I have been good friends with both. They have both morphed into Trumpsters. Neither one is dumb but something is off with their thought process.
I have spent time in Ontario, Canada. Some of it in London....it reminds me a bit of Columbus...not As populous but its populated enough. Its not far. Just an option if worse comes to worse.

Maybe I'm the only one to see the obvious but, the republicans projections beg for a deep look into ES&S and their 'tabulations.'
Of course, I could be wrong.
