At the ‘America First’ rally in Maricopa tonight, Marge Greene claims that Trump had ‘intel’ that there was going to be violence at the Capitol on Jan 6, and wanted to put 10,000 troops around the Capitol but ‘someone’ (Pelosi) refused.

Greene says -- so she must be interviewed under oath to confirm or disavow -- that...
Trump knew and wanted -- so he must be interviewed under oath to confirm or disavow -- but...
Pelosi refused -- so she must be interviewed under oath to confirm or disavow -- and yet...

We all know that the chain will be broken. The only question is if it will be Greene or Trump. So Pelosi should embrace being investigated, as the last link in the chain, to expose the cracks in the prior ones.

Is that the narrative they want to go with?

Mike Pence is going to have to come through for us, and if he doesn't, that will be a, a sad day for our country because you're sworn to uphold our Constitution.

Now, it is up to Congress to confront this egregious assault on our democracy. And after this, we're going to walk down, and I'll be there with you, we're going to walk down, we're going to walk down.

Anyone you want, but I think right here, we're going to walk down to the Capitol, and we're going to cheer on our brave senators and congressmen and women, and we're probably not going to be cheering so much for some of them.

Remember the military was announcing that they would not cooperate with the suggestion that they seize the voting machines or work on Trump's behalf to take over the country like Mike Flynn wanted.

What this would do: This is slightly different from martial law in that it’s an actual legal tool the president has that allows him to use the military in extreme ways. The Insurrection Act allows the president to call in troops for domestic law enforcement, not unlike what he did this summer in Portland, Ore., during Black Lives Matter protests. It’s supposed to be used only in times of emergency.

But what emergency is there right now that would warrant the military taking to the streets? There is none. Trump could try to gin one up by encouraging protests across the nation on Jan. 6 as Congress certifies results, said Meredith McGehee, an expert in ethics in politics and the director of Issue One.

Trump told Miller to "fill" the request, the former defense secretary testified. Miller said Trump told him: "Do whatever is necessary to protect demonstrators that were executing their constitutionally protected rights."
