Are you a forgiving person?

Will you ever be able to forgive Republicans that have done such great harm to the soul of America?

Whatever grand ideals some may have had about America have been blown away by the lies and hypocrisy of the Republicans. Everything they have exhibited runs counter to what we believed an American should be?

Is there any room for any forgiveness?

Even before the election I was willing to believe that the Repugs were just confused or misguided or whatever. Now, I can't and won't forgive the Repugs. The only good thing they have done is ripe the covering completely off themselves and those that support them. They have taken away my good thoughts about the grand ideals of this country. I probably won't ever feel the same way as I did in the past. On the other hand, this hopefully gives more chance of actually working toward a country based on equality and justice. No, at 75 I don't expect to actually see it, but I can continue to work for a better future for everyone. Well, maybe except those who voted for and still support what the Republicans are doing. Na, they don't deserve a better future.
