New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D) said Monday that his brother, CNN anchor Chris Cuomo, is not the only journalist to offer him advice.
The New York Post reported that during a news conference, the governor acknowledged that his brother had advised him on how to publicly address the sexual harassment accusations he faces, then added, "But I talk to journalists about situations all the time, and they tell me their thoughts and their advice."
A spokesperson for the governor did not immediately respond to questions from The Hill about which journalists have advised Cuomo and on what topics.
The Washington Post first reported last week that Chris Cuomo had joined several conference calls earlier this year to advise his brother on discussing the sexual misconduct allegations facing him.

(7,809 posts)Okay, admittedly I haven't been following this any more than headlines and skimming a few paragraphs, but I don't see what the hullaballoo is.
First of all, Andrew and Chris are brothers, even if one is a state governor and the other is a leading journalist. I'll just shrug about that because it just tells me that the two would have some conversations that would be interesting to listen to as a fly on the wall.
Second, the orange monster spoke daily with leading propagandists by phone and publicly for years and nobody raised a ruckus. Anyone who even raised an eyebrow was slapped down quick by reichwing thugs.
If my opinion is not well informed, please let me know.
Lastly, according to DU's spellcheck, I actually spelled "hullaballoo" correctly. It was a good guess for a word I don't remember ever seeing in print.

(22,144 posts)Especially when viewed in the fact that dump's son-in-law and daughter, both highly unqualified as to the skills set required of the numerous jobs daddy rump gave his family to do, a clear case of nepotism, pathetic. All rump was doing was padding the paychecks of both of his family members and getting his family members onto the public dole despite their gross incompetence.
