No, not the same, but a good analogy nonetheless. BobTheSubgenius May 2021 #9

Safely out-of-range. A noncombatant. Retired in comfort. Left the frontlines far behind.

She’s probably loving this. Totally beyond their reach, and the flighty fools needed some new boogeyman/woman to pick on. The payoff for targeting her was no longer that big. It was just no fun picking on Hillary anymore. Besides, there’s really nothing to pick on her FOR, anymore (as we’ve repeatedly seen over the years, when every attempt to burn her at the stake and then crucify her remains fell flatter than a grease stain.

They’re a spectacular mess and now a criminal enterprise. And she’s still standing, still classy, stress-free, not a hair out of place. Above it all.

She had her political career come to an end, and had the Presidency STOLEN from her. Al Gore anyone?

All that matters is the scoreboard, and she lost. Watching what's happening to Drumpf might make her feel a little better, but justice is by no means certain or anywhere near happening. She's still out of politics, through no fault of her own.

It might help a little, or even more than a little, but coming SO close to being President and being denied largely by chicanery with a dash of a ridiculous anachronism? I doubt that would ever go away.

Not the same obviously, but the loss will linger in both cases regardless.
