Biden Eyes McCaskill for Europe Ambassadorship
May 27, 2021 at 6:47 am EDT By Taegan Goddard

“Former Sen. Claire McCaskill is under consideration for a plum ambassadorship in western Europe — another sign President Biden will tap party allies over big dollar donors when he starts to name his political ambassadors as soon as next week,” Axios reports.

You don't think the post of ambassador is worth much, then? muriel_volestrangler May 2021 #6

I love seeing every room she has shown us so far. She deserves the ambassadorship, but I will greatly miss her voice of sanity on MSNBC if this does happen.

From what I can see, she's a talking head on a cable news channel.

I suppose that if you think all ambassadors should be career diplomats, it wouldn't be worth appointing her. But she's a proper experienced politician. I think a real job would suit her.

But it might have to be on an earlier show so that she wouldn't have to stay up too late.

What a feather in her cap! A great conclusion to a lifetime of service. Would miss her, but she has so much to offer to her country. A player on the world stage.
