Another 10 where 4 were injured or killed.

Another 15 involving 5 persons injured or killed.

Only 4 cases where 5 or more were killed.

The prevalence of mass shootings depends strongly on the definition. The media creates the impression that "mass shootings" are cases like San Jose, and then publishes mass shooting statistics that include vast numbers of cases that are nothing like San Jose.
