These are two I've eaten a bunch of times. Good stuff!

Hey, we're back in strict lockdown again. I know it doesn't sound much, but there are about three dozen cases in the state - apparently it is the Indian variant. One person left quarantine in South Aust. came home to Melbourne and it spread like wildfire.

I've been getting 'insider' updates from a retired nurse friend who moved back to Southport a year ago (sadly, with the intention of travel in Europe because it's easier from UK that Oz).

She updated her CV and volunteered for the vaccination force. She and husband are committed unionists; loathe Boris; and believe the whole UK approach was botched badly.

Personally, I couldn't get my head around "eat out to help out". Disaster waiting to happen.
