"Keep away from them."

"I urge you, brothers and sisters, to watch out for those who cause divisions and put obstacles in your way that are contrary to the teaching you have learned. Keep away from them. For such people are not serving our Lord Christ, but their own appetites. By smooth talk and flattery they deceive the minds of naive people.”

Romans 16:17-18

It's time for Campaign Finance Reform and overturning Citizen's United.

Publicly financed elections, limit political donations to individuals only. No corporations. Limit length of time spent campaigning. My congressman, Cawthorn, the mountain moron, in the running for DC village idiot, is on that list. He's missed 1 of very 6 votes, and mostly outrage tweets lies and distortions to scare the rubes into donating. He's stated his staff was built around "comms," and he's proven he has zero interest in legislation or what his actual constituents want.

He's proof we need a minimum eligibility requirement that potential representatives read the Constitution and pass the same test we give to new Citizens. It would be nice if they had a maturity requirement, too.
