By voting against a review of what happened - people stormed the capitol - anyone who is not guilty and interested in law and order would want a deep inquiry SAP.
The fact that the GOP is against it speaks volumes towards their guilt. And there stupid line that it was left leaning people would be reviewed by the inquiry they do not want.
the GOP has admitted full guilt in the insurrection.

(4,006 posts)"There's no question, none, that President Trump is practically and morally responsible for provoking the events of the day. The people who stormed this building believed they were acting on the wishes and instructions of their president, and having that belief was a foreseeable consequence of the growing crescendo of false statements, conspiracy theories and reckless hyperbole which the defeated president kept shouting into the largest megaphone on planet Earth. He did not do his job. He didn't take steps so federal law could be faithfully executed and order restored. Instead, according to public reports, he watched television happily happily as the chaos unfolded, even after it was clear to any reasonable observer that Vice President Pence was in serious danger."
