were Hispanics and one was a Sikh - I did ask if it was a hate crime

It is a VERY diverse city and it has been for a long time. Most people accept it and celebrate it in my experience. I guess not all do.

friend, Japanese American, who grew up in Sunnyvale and lives in San Jose did not experience/observe it until recently.

and there is a very high concentration of Vietnamese Americans in San Jose. It's so sad to hear that.

that he supposedly pointed at the union organizer and said something like I'm not going to kill you. He selected his victims and did not kill everyone at the meeting.
