(1,646 posts)I respectfully suggest that both of you might want to rethink it. Now Ron DeSatan I am totally fine with. Because satanists are usually parodists. I'm tempted to say always.

(54,013 posts)Cause, see, women are weak and timid and hysterical. A woman is not up for the tough manly job of being governor, so renaming him a weak woman is the clever way of pointing out that Ron DeSantis lacks the hairy swinging sweaty testicles to do manly testicular governor stuff. Also they're bad drivers and they're constantly shopping for shoes and going to the bathroom in pairs.
Does that help?

(1,646 posts)I was mentioning it, maybe to subtly apparently, to the OP.

(29,565 posts)That poor woman has taken a shitload of flack for not wanted to lie to the citizens of this state.
Susan Calvin
(1,646 posts)Exactly who is the poor woman, if I may ask?
Susan Calvin
(1,646 posts)I will admit I don't immediately or call the name of the woman he sent the police after.

That is my question. What is the point of calling that guy that I definitely hate by a female name? Is there some backstory that I am missing?

(29,565 posts)I think most people pronounce it "Rhonda Santis." They are all sexist pigs!

(1,646 posts)That's what I'd like to know. It sure doesn't seem related to The Whistleblower except by the first initial, or maybe Help Me Rhonda.

(16,399 posts)You can drag DeSantis to hell and back as far as I'm concerned. He deserves all that and more. But gendered insults of anyone are no bueno.
This is a Democratic forum, not some MAGAt cesspool. We should have higher standards here.

(3,731 posts)What is this crap? Are we missing something here, or is it just flat out misogyny?

(34,073 posts)The standard line is . . . in 3-2-1:
Anything goes in attacking Republicans; I'm not insulting women (despite the fact that misgendering him is clearly intended as something positive) - It's the hypocrisy, or that I'm only using it becaue it will offend him.
Tired of this crap.
