Men displaying 'Trump won' banner removed from Yankee Stadium

Photos show two men unveiling a “Trump Won Save America” flag on the first-base side of the stadium, which prompted a Bronx cheer of boos from many in the crowd. At one point, someone on the deck below jumps up, apparently trying to pull down the banner during the second game of a doubleheader between the Yankees and Blue Jays. The two men appear to be struggling over the flag with a security guard ... One of the two men then appears to have been handcuffed as he is walked up the steps away from the seating area.

“Sounded like the entire crowd was booing until security confiscated the banner, which then resulted in a large cheer,” tweeted Max Goodman, who covers the team for Sports Illustrated.

Lindsey Adler, a reporter with The Athletic, tweeted, “Lots of booing here after some jabronis unfurled a ‘TRUMP WON’ banner off the second deck.”

She tweeted after the men were escorted out, “Now we have extremely loud cheering as the conspiracy theory banner people are led out of the section by security.”
Another Twitter user asked, “Is that in the un-vaxxed section?”

9. From Boston, so I am not a Yankees fan.

However I respect what they did here, booing the trumpsters and tearing down that flag. Arresting them.

The Yankees and their fans have a heart of gold, they proved it after the Marathon bombing. That day was not just the marathon it was opening day at Fenway Park. After that, when the Yankees hosted their opening day they honored Boston with Neil Diamond singing Sweet Caroline. The crowd sung along and cheered.
