So you voted against a commission to investigate the events of January 6th.
I'm going to take that response as meaning "Yes, many of us are guilty of conspiring with the Capitol insurrectionists, and we'd really rather not talk about it right now, because we need time to convince our constituents that the events of January 6th never actually happened. We understand that the truth is going to be exposed eventually, but we are hopeful that when it is, our twice-impeached, under-criminal-investigation, and totally powerless Dear Leader will have come up with yet another brilliant strategy that will save us all from personal and political ruin."
Did I get that right?

(21,377 posts)The GQP is pushing the insurrection onward. If S1 doesn't pass the Senate the insurrectionists won't need an excuse for their behavior.
