(66,430 posts)But I don't foresee myself becoming one any time soon. I don't want anyone thinking I'm one of the MAGA super-"patriots", who have turned love of country into a nasty, dangerous weapon.
I know there are those on the left who want us to fly the flag in order to take the symbol back from the hate-mongers. But there's no real way, short of embroidering it on the flag itself, of stating that you're not one of those guys.

in honor of my country, especially on for Memorial Day to honor the vets I served with and those that are no longer with us.
I have an American Flag painted onto the rear of my sleeper.
