(3,677 posts)I'm tired of all the grifting going unchallenged and hopefully punished. I used to be a sweet little thing. Now, not so much. I'm truly tired of people literally getting away with murder and theft and never having to answer for their crimes. Yeah, I'm tired of it and if I am I can tell you so are a bunch more of people who never speak up until someone else does. I've always been a sort of canary in the mine being, finally the one to say 'wait this is confusing or it isn't right or something is off here.' I can't tell you how often I've done that and then been deluged by others saying thank you for saying something.

(7,284 posts)I did a google search earlier this morning to find out whether or not federal grand juries have to vote unanimously in order to "return" an indictment. Apparently federal grand jury votes don't have to be unanimous, which is good to know.
In the process of researching that question, I learned that federal grand juries are often impaneled in order to conduct an investigation, or to test out an investigation already underway but not necessarily completed.
Which makes me wonder if in fact, these investigations (wrt to Trump et al) have been on going, before and during grand jury's which we, the public aren't aware even when these kinds of reports are leaked to the press.
It seems like the Trump Hotel should have been a part of the investigations from the start, or at least fairly close to the "beginning" whenever these started.
Just idol curiosity...
