Donna Brazile leaves Fox, joins ABC as contributor

Former Democratic National Committee (DNC) Chairwoman Donna Brazile has left Fox News and joined ABC News as a contributor. A spokesperson for ABC confirmed to The Hill that Brazile is now a contributor with the network. The Hill has reached out to Fox for comment.

Brazile told The Daily Beast that she decided to return to ABC when her contract expired. She had been with Fox for two years. “When my contract expired, they offered me an additional 2-4 years,” Brazile told the outlet. “But I decided to return to ABC.”

The move to Fox came after CNN severed ties with Brazile in October 2016 for sharing town hall debate questions with former Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton.

News of Brazile’s exit from Fox comes after Juan Williams announced his departure from “The Five” on Wednesday. He will still stay at the network as a contributor.
