(6,933 posts)WTF? Why are these assholes given a platform in 2021? This isnt a 1st Amendment issue, make them print flyers in their basement if they wanna spread their revolution.
They arent entitled to the benefits of technology a private company offers, and keeping the rest of the deplorables isnt worth it.

(13,058 posts)this dangerous behavior of outright insurrection-stoking is now blatant and leaves no doubt. this horrid, ignorant man needs to be stripped of his military rank. He is a danger to American democracy.

(54,436 posts)If I had done half the things they portrayed me as doing in the film (a film was made about his time in Vietnam), I would have spent the rest of my life in Leavenworth.
The stuff Adrian did in the film never rose to anywhere near Flynns calling for a Franco-style fascist uprising to take over the country by force. Leavenworth would be mild punishment for what he did. Back in Mother Russia, they would have unceremoniously put him up against a wall and let a firing squad do their duty.
Flynn can thank his lucky stars that the kind of regime he is advocating is not in power. Such a regime would already have stuck him in an unmarked grave.

Then reduced in rank, and discharged other

(35,724 posts)MSNBC shows tonight. One, just a short time ago, was Barry McCaffrey who didn't even talk about military courts, but said the DOJ would have a hard time ignoring what Flynn said. Another commentator on the same show said that Flynn has been trying to walk back the comments, but several people acknowledged that this doesn't fly because it's perfectly obvious what he did since it is on tape.
On the other show, the military person, a general, IIRC, said that Flynn's comments and behavior has been getting stranger and stranger. I can't recall the exact word he used, but that's an approximate. The implication was that Flynn's comments have been getting progressively stranger and stranger.
If military courts weren't mentioned, is it possible that because he's retired, military courts are not applicable?

(16,254 posts)I saw several news commentators commenting on his words, tonight. By morning, the media should be hot. Brian Williams said he was trying to walk it back, but didn't elaborate. Walk it back like he did his lies to the FBI?
That pardon never should have been allowed. Surely, they could have done something to stop it.

Still, nice to celebrate Twitter being Flynn free for almost 5 months now.
