China has accused several Western clothing brands of selling goods that could be harmful to children.
A warning notice on the country's customs administration website listed 81 items imported by companies including Nike, H&M and Zara.

This is the fundamental problem with a regime that has absolute power - it doesn't need to have a logical case for anything it does in reaction to accusations against it. It can screw any group that criticises it, and there's no appeal to say "that's unfair" or "that's bullshit".
