He's not appearing exclusively. He's a "special feature" at Mike Lindell's 4-1/2 hour rally this month, along with 8 other speakers.
And Trump doesn't have to shell out the money for travel, escorts, police protection, private protection, meals, water, etc. Because he's not going to appear in person. He'll be on a Jumbo-Tron. That's right a ZOOM experience.
Trust me, it won't be the same.

(7,947 posts)They're withholding him from actually being seen in person. It must really be bad, considering how very unhinged his previous rallies were.

(13,618 posts)health or the money situation is just not doable. There are plenty of wealthy people that could stake him on a tour, and probably would if there was any upside.

(6,377 posts)He doesn't have social media to advertise his rallies anymore. His bullhorn is gone. He doesn't have the power of the presidency to help draw people. Imagine the embarrassment if he held a rally at an arena that holds 15,000...and only 2,000 people show.

(146,325 posts)in Wisconsin. There was an almost unreadable quarter-page ad for it in this morning's paper. Here's the thing, though: It's not scheduled here in the Twin Cities of MN. Instead, it's in a small town across the border in Wisconsin, at some "concert venue." I've been to that town, and the venue maybe holds 4-500 people, max.
Pillow Mike will be there, but Trump will just be a video presence. Mike Lindell's photo is most of the ad. Trump is in a box in the ad.
This will not work for either person. Nope.

(10,914 posts)I suspect the latter.
He probably is too batsh*t at this point to risk being seen live.

(94,719 posts)Yes, he's appearing online at Lindell's rally, but he's planning live, in-person rallies himself, starting this summer.

(19,110 posts)What the heck? That seems very un Trump like. There has to be a reason for this. As someone else stated, maybe he's not physically well.

(2,336 posts)They want him in person -- not on a screen. But then again, maybe I'm wrong? It does happen from time to time.
