His university was fake.

He declared bankruptcy 6 times.

He paid a porn star $130,000.00.

He admitted he liked grabbing pussy.

2. It is amazing, with all that, that no one in the Repub party can see their way to "new ideas"

I really don't want to see them have smart, popular and clear counter narratives to the Dem agenda, but you would think someone on the Repub side would try. A party of just "No!" and "Rah rah Donnie" can't really seem like a long term winner even to them, can it? And I suppose that is why voter suppression laws seem like a good idea. Pretty sad.

Or a sense of humor, or a modicum of kindness, or empathy. But they think they make up for that with more hate and loathing.

term interest and they would vote that way. I would always expect some who are just about money and power and don't care who gets abused or run over as long as they get ahead. Just amazes me that Repubs can garner the level of voter support they do. Of course massive gerrymandering and now increasing voter suppression help them but even so, the fact we Dems don't have a more resounding majority in the House and Senate boggles my mind.

For them, Trump, and the idea of a Putin style dictatorship in this country is their new idea.

Most people get tired of failing and stop doubling down on stupid ideas but I guess that takes a level of intelligence they just lack. I don't really care about them but sure is sad for the country.

3. He's the putative leader of a slow-moving coup that aims to topple democracy in the USA

He seeks to destroy the rule of law, checks and balances and fair elections.

He labels the press "the enemy of the people", subverts justice, and replaces skilled bureaucrats and politicians with other fascists.

He lies, blasphemes and tears our country asunder every single day.

Republicans- "Yep. That's our guy".
