(28,866 posts)and Manchin turns out to be a Republican in Dem clothing.
Our country is now in the throes of the overwhelming longlasting reach of white domestic terrorism.
It stretches from the assassination of Lincoln, to the police state assault on people of color, and now to the halls of state legislatures across the country seeking to quell Democratic votes so that Nazi-like rulers will take over and mount an assault on both people and everything we hold dear.
Our democracy will not survive this, and neither will the planet.
BTW, this is not hyperbole.
