How should Democrats respond to the "most radical socialist agenda in history"?

The campaign which the Republicans have already started.

"Those darn Democrats are destroying our country with their big-spending social programs", they preach.

"They are destroying the future for our children", they warn.

How should Democrats respond?

That is really rich coming from a Party that endorsed a coup against our government and have been mainly silent since it happened. How can anyone trust Republicans to do what is best for the people, when they have no respect for our government or the rule of law?

How can anyone believe a word they say, when they have promoted the "Big Lie" that has done great harm to our country?

And now, they want to criticize the Democrats?

Give me a frigging break!

They don't have the right to criticize anybody.

was delivered, along with the deregulation of the media that made America's corporations the largest welfare recipients ever and included
via EITC paying their lowest paid workers with tax money and (since 1976) 44 years of wage suppression, denial of medical care and theft of retirement funds, along with destruction of what was once the world's best education system.

in 1965 when the Medicare & Medicaid Act was passed. Are you willing to give up your social security? Or do you have enough room in your house to let your parents or grandparents move in with you if they can no longer afford to live independently?"

I’ve heard many say that they’d rather a 401K type social security plan that allows people to control their money. Or Ive heard idiots say that they’d rather get a refund and worry about their own retirement. I’d suspect most saying this already have millions socked away but I’m not sure. They also don’t realize that there is no money to refund because social security takes care of current retirees. Idiots!

...not agreeing with it. Even the most radically left Democrats come off as "right-of-center" when it comes to messaging and sentiments that seem to help people who are not white, heterosexual and Christian.

It happened with ObamaCare; it's happening with public school funding, and frankly, it's why America's experiment with Democracy is circling the drain right now.

I'm tired of our guys backpedaling. "Well, no, I'm not a socialist, but.."

Enough. There needs to be more of a defiant tone from Democratic candidates and lawmakers.

"Yeah? What of it?" Would be my response. If they're not comfortable embracing or leaning into the socialist label, they can say something like "Call it whatever you want, but our agenda is better for the nation and here's why..."

While you were worried socialism would take your freedoms.
Capitalism stole your pension,
stole your savings
Sent your jobs overseas
Robbed you of healthcare
Dismantled the educational system
And put you in debt,
Leaving you only your racism,
Xenophobia, hate and guns.

Tell 'em, CHECK YER POLLING, BUDDY.

The American people WANT the Dem agenda by wide margins, so either the Repubs are lying that it's the "most radical socialist agenda in history", or if it is, the American people want the "most radical socialist agenda in history".

Suck on that Moscow Mitch.

Not wanting to get shot in school is socialist.

Buying stuff before a blizzard is socialist.

Having sex for fun is socialist.

Wanting statehood for Puerto Rico is socialist.

At some point it’s going to wear out...

The main tactic of dangerously bad leaders is a constant barrage of mob-fanning, conviction-defeating, weaponized lies about the opposition.

They started defeating Hillary in 2016 back in 2006 or before, and not a week went by in that decade that they didn't successfully plant their deceitful innuendos and lies in the needy maw of the 24/7/365 "news" cycle.

for rest of the 21st century which our children and grandchildren will live in for the rest of their lives.

The rest of the developed nations continual invest in modernizing their infrastructure while the GOP restricts us from spending the money needed to upgrade a power grid, rail, roads bridges etc. dating in some cases from the 19th century.

While Democratic presidents and congresses have been (overly) accommodating to the Rs, the Rs have gotten more and more extreme, nuttier and nuttier, and since Obama at least, completely incapable of any sort of compromise.
