It's possible or even likely that we will become a one party dictatorship like Russia and banana republics since laws to protect democracy will not be passed while laws to ensure a Republican majority are being passed all over the country.

from a state whose population is politically out of sync with his party, to completely thwart everything the party is trying to accomplish - presumably just so he can get re-elected. It just shouldn't work that way.
