It’s nine years to run for Senate. State laws would vary for those offices.

To be a senator you have to have been a citizen for 9 years but you can be foreign-born. "No Person shall be a Senator who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty Years, and been nine Years a Citizen of the United States, and who shall not, when elected, be an Inhabitant of that State for which he shall be chosen. (Article I, section 3, clause 3)."

Many offices require one to be a US citizen. Others, particularly local offices, do not.

Do you have any information that suggests that he is considering running for office? I would guess that he's not doing that.

It seems that he escaped the Royal Family because he didn't like being in the spotlight all the time. Running for office, even a local one, would put him right back in it.

I know you were just “asking an asking question.” But, Stephen Colbert commented on how troubling talk of the Rock running is. The Rock is a good guy, could probably win. He backed Biden. But, he has no qualifications. We’ve had enough of reality stars and movie stars. Harry has absolutely no qualifications, but he’s a reality star. He is in the same category with Caitlin Jenner. The question of these reality stars running for public office is not totally harmless.

If so, yes.

If not, no.

If he has US Citizenship, its not natural, thus he could never run for President. But as a state governor, yes. A U.S. Representative or Senator? Yes.
