Stop!

We elected Joe.

Stop the hysterics!

Don’t you think he knows who he can depend on and what he needs to do? He has good and decent people at the helm, all as much concerned about defending our
constitution as we are here on DU.

We act as if we are already defeated by the low IQers who inhabit what is left of the Republican Party, when most of their members think they are a joke.

STOP giving them credit to their stupid words!!

STOP not trusting what we are doing!! You make it hard to reach our goals.

Get on the train or get under it!

We're not MAGAt's. I've seen enough "trump train" flags around here that any comment like that makes me want to puke on the spot.

I understand your meaning, but you should also understand that the American public, and Democratic voters in particular, is desperate to see consequences and punishment for tRump criminals. Right or wrong, the impression is that there will be none. That could be due to media coverage decisions.

If we're expected to be patient because "it's in the works", then you all need to be understanding of that.

What The Hell?

I appreciate your desperation but can you appreciate the 10,000 things Biden has accomplished over the asshat who shit on us before him? Give him an iota of time to clean up the sewage!!

and I don't think I've posted anything negative about Biden. I've stated before that he and Harris have been a VERY pleasant surprise so far.

It's the others, Manchin etc, that I'm critical of. They are keeping Biden from accomplishing things that should earn him a spot on Mt Rushmore. And they're Democrats, not asshole republiqons.

Manchin, Sinema, etc are going to fuck it up for Democrats for decades. Longer, if republicon voter suppression and cheating are allowed to stand.

Please, explain how that's a real problem that blocks progress.

It should never have been possible for someone as awful as Trump to become President in the first place, and then get away with so much shit while in office without anyone stopping him. We have good reason to be concerned that our institutions won't hold, and that all of the good intentions of Biden and other Democrats, no matter how hard they're working, will be sufficient.

Not all of the Republicans working against us are "low IQers". Many of them very cunningly know, however, how to use "low IQers" to get and hold power. We've already seen that can work. And even the truly stupid Republicans in power can still be dangerous.

I've seen the Dems drop the ball too many times to be feeling sanguine about things right now.

I will be ecstatic if my fears prove to have been misguided.

But he’s off to a good start and kicking him in the balls may help to get more done, but not if it means demeaning him or our party.
