Back (in the '90s?) when there was a fad of CIA/Spooks, FBI, and wingnuts (Robert NOVAK) converting to Catholicism (Angus Dei), she was one of them. Plus she was a cancer survivor and adopted (Russian?) orphans, was off the air for a time. When she came back with talk about her conversion, I peered at the TV screen to see what "spiritual" signs there were. For a couple of years she was toned down with her hate speech, but she gradually and then definitely went back to her fully undisguised hate. Back then I called her supposed beneficiaries, The Little Sisters of the Poor, and a befuddled (Mother Superior?) to ask what signs of change in spirituality a convert might be expected to show and what about these donations? She said she had never heard of this person or donations from her.

***ON EDIT: Oh, looks like the old link advertising a gold cross has been removed.
