There is an uptick in the percentage of women who are going to vote for Romney. Do you have a take on this?

Many young women I have talked to in Austin are not in the least concerned about reproductive rights; they figure they can always arrange a fix, I guess. There IS a considerable interest in new tattoos (hey, what's a stereotype between generations?). But there is no interest in relating how I and many other (then-young hippy activists) busted ass to elect folks to office who favored reproductive rights. I may as well be discussing the comeback of bell-bottoms, bead threading or CCR.

Please post things with facts. The youth of America are not stupid. They are well educated and very intelligent. More people this age have gone to college then any other age group. Gen Y will be even more educated then Gen X and are less driven by religion. They are our future. I am a younger Gen Xer that went back to college. None of the college kids I spoke to like Republicans. None. Zero.

Also, Joe Biden is way "dreamier". A man who stated he has religious beliefs. But that those beliefs should not lead him to tell me what to do with my own body. Wow. That just made my night Thursday. And Paul Ryan looks like a less attractive Eddie Munster. And he has no lips.

I am 36. I have spoken to tons of twentysomething women at the college I went to for a teaching certificate. None of them like Republicans and all of them are pro choice.
None of the thirtysomething women in my age group that I am a friends with or is part of my family thinks Ryan and Romney are good for women either. Lots of women in Gen X and Gen Y cannot stand them. Just say "forcible rape" and it explains everything. Repubs are losing women under 45. In PPP's poll of VA not that long ago, Obama won women under 45 59% to 38%.
